A well known sandstone rock formation in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia are known for The Three Sisters towering above the Jamison Valley and their names are Meehni which is 922 m high, Wimlah which is 918 m high, and Gunnedoo which is 906 m high. According to the legend, there were three sisters who fall in love with three men from the neighboring tribe, but by the tribal law they cannot marry and so the battle begin during which an elder turned the three sisters into stone to protect them, but elder got killed and no one else could turn them back.
In reality, the Three Sisters were created by the several years of erosion and is at the echo point, from where you can feel the Sisters, the giant Jamison Valley and the distant mountains.
